All of the mobility devices use typed commands that you type in the SL "chat history window".
Once inworld, open your chat history window: on a PC, you hold down the control key and tap "H" for "history." (On a Mac, use command H.)
To give a command to the device, you first type a /2 followed by a space, followed by the command, and press enter to have the command start working. It will not work until you press enter to activate it.
