1. Check that Your Device Is Attached and that Your Sound Is Working

You should show up in Second Life™ already wearing your dog, cane, or ring.

The dog, cane, and ring are all attachments-meaning that your avatar "wears" whichever you choose and that it flies or teleports with you. Some areas in Second Life allow to you to create or "rez" things and put them on the ground; other areas do not. Because you "wear" the device, you do not have to worry about what kind of area you are in. You should hear the device say "Ready."

NOTE: To test your sound, when you press F2, you should hear your avatar clapping.
