According to the "World Health Organisation:
Every five seconds, one person in the world goes blind.
A child goes blind every minute.
Over seven million become blind each year.
During the next 10 years, with a growing and ageing population, these numbers will double.
But as Helen Keller said:
"Many people have the wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained trough self-gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy purpose"
